The North Meck Rugby Club represents North Mecklenburg High School and is a member of the North Carolina High School Rugby Association (NCHSRA), North Carolina Youth Rugby Union (NCYRU), and USA Rugby. North Meck HS will take on Hough HS to kick off the ACRC Bowl Series on Friday Nov 21st at 4:00pm.

The Club was founded in 2005 and, after years of transition and growth, finished as the 2014 Carolina Ruggerfest Lions Division Champion and the 2014 North Carolina State Cup Runner-Up. The team practices at Hambright Field on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 to 5:00 and welcome all North Meck students who are committed to learning the game of rugby.

North Meck chooses their motto, Ex Unitate Vires, because their coaches and players believe in solidarity, discipline, respect, and the ability of these values to transform a group of individuals into a team.
