Dartmouth White Team vs. Iowa State 1st Team
In their second game of the Bermuda International 7s Tournament, Dartmouth White squared off against Iowa State’s 1st Team. Dartmouth jumped out to an early lead when, at 2:22, Rockford “Rocky” Dutta made a nice run down the sideline, offloading to Greyson Segars, who took the ball in for a try. The conversion kick was not made, making the score 5-0 Dartmouth. Ac couple minutes later (4:58), Iowa State answered with a try of their own scored by #13. The conversion kick was made, putting Iowa State ahead of Dartmouth 7-5. Dartmouth wouldn’t be held out of the try zone for long though as Greyson Segars scored his second try of the game at 6:00. This time Devin Kruse was able to knock through the conversion, bringing the score to 12-7 in favor of Dartmouth. Unfortunately, the second half would not go in Dartmouth’s favor. To start the second half, Iowa State kicked the ball into Dartmouth’s try zone and a speedy player on Iowa State was able to touch the ball down before a Dartmouth player could do so, resulting in a try. The conversion was missed, tying the score 12-12. Iowa State then went on to score three unanswered tries, with all three conversion kicks made, resulting in a final score of 33-12 Iowa State.
